Joost Klein was selected with the song "EUROPAPA" to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. He did very well in the semi-finals, however, disaster struck! He was EXCLUDED from further participation due to an incident with a relentlessly pursuing camera operator after his performance. He is the ONLY ARTIST EVER to have to leave the Eurovision Song Contest in this way.

his facial expressions. But the hair was very difficult because I was trying out the new Blender hair system the first time.
Here Joost is waving heavily. Not because he is happy that he has to leave the Eurovision Song Contest early,
but simply because he loves his audience and is quite kinetic by nature :-)
